We've partnered with the Greenburgh Nature Center to sponsor their environmentally friendly Electric Mini!

The Greenburgh Nature Center (GNC) is a 33-acre nature preserve with trails, a pond, an orchard, and gardens. More than 70,000 visitors come to the GNC each year. The property is a significant wildlife habitat refuge, both for indigenous species and for the hundreds of species of migratory birds that use it as a resting place on their spring and fall travels. The property includes 30 acres of woodland, two significant wetland sites, and an old orchard succession site, which is used as a nesting area for Eastern box turtles.

In Applebee's efforts to Go Green, we've partnered with GNC to sponsor their environmentally friendly Electric Mini! Click on the photos to take a look. The Mini will be used at educational events throughout Westchester County in which GNC takes part. Keep an eye out, you may just find the Mini in your neighborhood!

GNC's mission is to educate and to promote conservation, research, and appreciation of nature and the environment while preserving the natural and historic character of our property.

GNC's vision is to be the leader in nature and environmental education, igniting a lasting desire to preserve and protect the natural world.

The GNC is located at 99 Dromore Road, off Central Park Avenue, in Scarsdale, New York. Parking is free and handicapped parking is available.
